Hanukkah is here! It’s the 3rd night and if you’re not lighting candles this week, you can still be a part of the festival of lights by channeling this fun Hanukkah-inspired half-moon mani. Choose a blue and nude shade and see my previous post here to see how to do a half moon using stickers from the drug store!
Every year at Christmas and Hanukkah time, my family sends out their lists of present ideas so that we know what to get each other. I undoubtably get makeup, hair, and skincare requests with something usually along the lines of, “I’m not sure what I need but just pick something out for me”. Since many products get pricey, I love finding travel-sized and budget friendly picks that are perfect for stocking stuffers. I’ve rounded up a sizable list of 25 under $25 that will definitely earn you beauty brownie points with family and friends. Happy Shopping!
When it comes to nails, I always gravitate towards the same thing: bright on my toes and light on my fingers. But I typically stick to light pinks or bright orangey-reds. I always like the way nude colors look on other people but I have a hard time finding the right shade for my skin tone. Everything was either too light or too (for lack of a better word)…nude, for my medium-toned skin. I recently discovered Chanel’s polish in ‘Frenzy‘. It’s a beige-grey that’s neither too yellow or too pink – the perfect neutral that looks good for all seasons.
