I’m usually a minimalist when it comes to my “base”, but every now and then (usually around a certain time of the month), I need some extra layering. Full coverage foundations can get a bad wrap for making you look too “makeup-y” but they definitely have their place and can come in quite handy. Besides giving you an all-over veil, you can thin them out with moisturizer or face oil to create lighter coverage. They also double up as a concealer when you need some spot coverage. So I’ve rounded up a few of the full-coverage foundations worth checking out.
P.S. Covering up flaws is always a quick option but if you’re someone that suffers from melasma, rosacea, breakouts, or uneven skin tone, your skin might be in need of some professional attention. For expert advice, it might be a good idea to see a dermatologist and/or book an appointment with a facialist.
