RAINY DAY HAIR MASK

My amazingly talented cousin Claire, is the master-mind behind The Kitchy Kitchen.  It’s filled with wonderful recipes, lifestyle tips, beautiful photography, and a collaboration with yours truly.  I’m so excited to be a part of her monthly beauty series, and to combat all the over processed, blow-dried strands, it’s time for a hair boost with my rainy day hair mask.  Check out the article on her blog, and read below!

Ingredients:

1/2 banana
1/2 avocado
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together and apply to dry hair from roots to tips. After all your hair is saturated, pin it up with a clip and put on a disposable shower cap or saran wrap to help eliminate some mess.  Leave on for 1 hour and then shampoo out.  You might need to shampoo twice. Skip conditioner, or if you must condition, only add a little to your ends.
