With bold lips on the horizon for winter, I’m finding it hard to keep the color from creeping beyond my lip line. Feathering and dryness are two factors that can totally kill the look of a great lip.  Enter the lip primer. Beyond what a balm can do, a lip primer does to your lips, what an eyeshadow primer does to your lid. It creates a smooth base and helps keep the color from fading, cracking, and moving.  There are a few on the market but I picked up the Too Faced Lip Insurance Lip Primer on a recommendation from a friend. It goes on a like a gloss but dries to a buttery, matte finish.  Since I had an event this weekend and was wearing a bright red lip, this primer was everything it lived up to be.  It kept my color vibrant and smooth, and I only had to touch up once during a night of eating, drinking and chatting.
