England has some great beauty lines but what I’m really excited about when I go there is Boots. For all of you that are unfamiliar, Boots is much like our CVS or Walgreens – a drug store that offers cosmetic and skin care brands that are more affordable. They also have their own line of makeup and skin care, that has started popping up in CVS and Target around the U.S. I could fill a whole suitcase with products from Boots, but here are a few of my faves.
Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips – Much like Smith’s Rosebud Salve, this lip balm feels amazing, smells amazing, but leaves a slightly pink tint.
L’Oreal Elnett Satin Very Volume Extra Strength Hair Spray – This is an industry fave, and the European countries sell it much cheaper then we do. They also come in various sizes, which is super handy.
Eau Thermale Avéne Hydrance Optimale UV Light – It’s a great moisturizer with an SPF of 20. They make a range of good products but this is one of my favorites.
17 Blow Out Mascara – It’s a great volumizing mascara. The fat brush lifts, separates and adds great volume.
Dove Invisible Dry Anti-Persperant Deodorant – We aren’t really into spray deodorant here in The States, but Dove makes a great one that I really like. The spray seems to add a cooling effect, which is an added bonus.
