I will be the first one to say that I have too much crap in my purse. Keys, wallet, note pad, phone, sunglasses, lip gloss….I’m not adding another 18 products to carry around on my shoulder. When you’re caught in a pinch and need a quick fix, here are some tricks using products that serve double duty.
Oily roots. You’ve had a long day and realize your roots are little less then fresh. Pull out your powder compact or bronzer (for darker hair) and brush a little on your part. Let the powder sit for a minute and then massage with fingers to disperse.
Dry cuticles. Work a small amount of colorless lip balm on your fingertips and knuckles to soothe cracked skin and cuticles. You can use lip balm to tame eyebrows and fly aways too. Quadruple duty!
Frizz. You left the house with perfectly polished hair and now you look like a cotton ball. Tame frizz by working a small amount of hand cream through your tresses. Just void the roots and use sparingly.
Washed-out skin. Most girls carry a lipstick of some kind (or 5) in their purse. If you’re in need of a pick-me-up, dab a little on your cheeks and/or eyelids for added color. Try to steer clear of sticky or super glittery glosses.
